What do you love about VSA?

I enjoy spreading Vietnamese culture and learning from other cultures. VSA has taught me a lot about many different kinds of people, and we are still experiencing a lot of growth as an organization.

Main goal this year:

I want VSA to be well known not only at UT Dallas but also with the Dallas Vietnamese community. We have gained a lot from working around the Dallas area, and I hope that we can give back to those who have helped us.

Side Note:

VSA has allowed me to meet many different people, and I look forward to meeting many more this year!

What do I love about VSA?

There are many things that I love about VSA. First off, are the people whom I have met who come from different backgrounds, but still share a common ground of having interest in the Vietnamese culture. I also enjoy the fact that VSA focuses on bringing these people together through events that reflects our history and culture and helps us become more educated about other cultures which, in return, allows us to bridge cultural diversity. Mostly, however, my favorite aspect of VSA is our concept of giving back and helping the Vietnamese community. It’s wonderful that we are able to choose a charity each year to work with. Volunteering and helping the less fortunate is one of my greatest hobbies.

Main goal this year:

My main goal this year is to get to know the members and form a close knit family. I also hope to get more members to be active within VSA and give more back to the Vietnamese community.
