Welcome to the Jindal School of Management Book Club's website. We are a student organization at the University of Texas at Dallas that reads business-related or character building books that will better prepare students for the business world through the use of critical thinking, analytical, and communication skills.
This organization does not require a membership fee, but it is up to members to buy/read faculty-chosen books before meetings. DMHP students receive one professional development credit if they attend both meetings for a month (but may only do this once throughout the year to fulfill one professional development credit). Meetings take place in the DMHP lounge located in the McDermott Library, room 2.412 (but will shortly be moved to the new DMHP lounge in the new JSOM building), two Wednesdays a month usually starting around 4 or 5 pm. Each semester, a total of three books are read/discussed (Fall: September, October, and November; Spring: February, March, and April).
